"Even though I can mix and master myself, I wanted help especially with mixing the drums and vocals besides the overall finishing.
Gleb was humble, kept on schedule and communicated well. He even gave a free sample of his skills before making a purchase decision and agreed to do an extra alternative mix of our song.
All in all, he was genuinely interested in working on our EP, which can now also be seen and heard on the record.
Overall 5/5 service. I can only recommend working with him and I am interested in his services in the future!"

Frequently asked questions.
These are some of the most frequent questions I receive—along with clear answers to help you understand the process and get the best results for your music.
What is mixing?
Mixing is the process of combining individual recorded tracks (like vocals, instruments, and effects) into a cohesive song. It involves adjusting volume levels, panning sounds in the stereo or immersive audio field, applying EQ, compression, and adding effects like reverb or delay to enhance the overall sound and bring out the best in the music.
What is mastering?
Mastering is the final step of audio production. Its primary purpose is to prepare a mixed song or album for distribution and to serve as the final quality control (QC) step. Mastering ensures that the song complies with the technical specifications of various release mediums, such as streaming platforms, CDs, etc. It can enhance and polish what’s already been done at the mixing stage, ensuring the music achieves the desired sound quality and is competitive and professional. However, it does not fix issues in a poor mix.
Additionally, mastering involves tasks like album assembly, ensuring tracks flow seamlessly and creating a cohesive sound throughout the album. To accomplish all this, mastering engineers use specialized tools alongside standard ones like limiting, compression, and EQ to prepare singles and albums for release across various formats and platforms.
What is Dolby Atmos and Spatial Audio?
Dolby Atmos is an immersive audio technology that creates a 3D sound experience by placing sounds in a virtual 3D space. Unlike traditional stereo or 5.1, which uses fixed number of channels, Atmos adapts to any speaker configuration, ensuring you get the immersive experience in any listening situation. This technology adds depth and dimension, enhancing the listening experience on compatible devices or in theaters.
Spatial Audio, on the other hand, is Apple’s branding for their implementation of Dolby Atmos. It features Apple’s custom binaural rendering, specifically designed for headphones, and includes advanced features like dynamic head tracking. This ensures a personalized and immersive sound experience tailored for Apple devices, as well as 3rd party devices.
How do I distribute a Dolby Atmos mix?
To distribute a Dolby Atmos mix, you’ll need to work with platforms that support the format like Apple Music or Tidal. Once your Dolby Atmos ADM file is ready, you can use distribution services that handle Dolby Atmos content (Distrokid, Avid Play, etc.), or you may need to work with a professional distributor specializing in immersive audio formats.
What are revisions?
Revisions refer to adjustments made to your mix or master based on your feedback. I offer unlimited revisions to ensure your song sounds exactly the way you envision. This can include changing the balance of instruments, tweaking effects, or adjusting the overall tone.
What is turnaround?
Turnaround is the amount of time it takes for me to deliver your initial mix or master after receiving your files. My standard turnaround time is 5-10 business days for free samples and 5 business days for paid work. Expedited services are available if needed.
Do I need professional mixing and mastering?
Professional mixing and mastering ensure your song has clarity, balance, and impact, making it sound great across all platforms and devices. If you're struggling to achieve the desired sound and impact on your own, it may be time to consider hiring a professional to handle the mixing and mastering for you. A fresh perspective and expertise can make all the difference in bringing your vision to life.
How do I send files?
You can send your high-quality WAV files (minimum 44.1kHz, 24bit) via a file-sharing service like Google Drive, Dropbox, or WeTransfer. Ensure all tracks start at the same point, and if possible, provide any reference tracks to show the sound you’re aiming for.
